Job summary

Swissport in Sterling, VA is seeking a Cargo Training Supervisor to lead station trainers and drive training standards across all lines of business in the US. You will oversee onboarding, ongoing development, compliance, and KPI-driven performance, with a pay rate of $24.23 per hour and full-time benefits including health, 401(k), and paid time off.

The role requires strong leadership, aviation familiarity, and the ability to manage remote teams and busy shifts while upholding safety, quality

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of leadership development and training experience.
• Bachelor degree in business, HR, training, or related field preferred.
• Screener must be a US citizen as per 1544.405-1544.411.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management to Station Trainers.
• Implement and maintain training standards across all lines of business.
• Manage end to end new hire process.
• Ensure training files are accurate and up to date.
• Deliver initial professional development training and coaching.
• Meet KPI targets through planning and coaching of staff.
• Collaborate with GM, HR, Operations to ensure smooth training experience.
• Schedule training to maximize trainer efficiency and trainee competence.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and plan succession.
• Promote trainers and managers to meet station goals.
• Set employee goals aligned with company standards.
• Manage training audits and safety investigations.
