Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL is seeking an entry-level Technician to assist in interior assembly and repair of aircraft components, including seats and panels. You will work from diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to assemble and test parts.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED; 0–2 years experience; A&P and mechanical/electrical exposure is a plus. You will perform quality checks and document work per FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with reading drawings and work orders to determine repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production assembly tasks on interior assemblies and subassemblies such as seats, cabinets, panels, partitions, and in-flight equipment.
• Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Conduct quality inspections and verify conformity to specifications.
• Document work packages per FAA and repair station manuals; submit for QA inspection.
