Job summary

JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated BHS Technician at Denver International Airport (DEN). This career-track role provides electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance support for baggage handling systems, with an expected commitment of at least 1 year.

The position requires safe tool handling, adherence to PPE and safety policies, and the ability to complete PM tasks, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and understand repair manuals and basic schematics.
• Minimum 2+ years of mechanical work experience and 1+ year of basic electrical/electronic work.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of tools and PPE, safely and properly.
• Ensure badge and uniform are presentable and complete.
• Review paperwork to gather tools and PMs; follow procedures.
• Follow safety policies and company/federal rules.
• Inspect baggage handling system components and belts across areas.
• Perform PM tasks and report deficiencies to seniors.
• Handle E-Calls from BHS control center with updates.
• Write detailed work orders including time, work, and parts.
• Report to area and check belts, motors, power-turns, and carousels.
• Perform cleaning and replacement tasks on conveyors; identify issues by sight and sound.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and systems under guidance.
• Attend required training and follow LO/TO procedures.
• Comply with airport driving rules and safety policies.
