Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or GED and up to 18 months of inspection training.
• Two years of journey-level or skilled inspection experience.
• May require a valid Texas driver's license.
• Preferred to obtain industry certificates in Plumbing/Electrical/Mechanical/Structural/Elevator within 11 months.
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints, contracts and OEM service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, conducts and reviews inspections on assets for contract compliance.
• Performs inspections, identifies problems and issues correction notices or citations.
• Meets with contractors and the public to address inquiries and problems.
• Maintains filing, reports and documentation.
• Evaluates plans, specifications and drawings.
