Victor Sierra Aviation, based in Palmer, AK, is seeking an Assemblies Technician to assemble, inspect, and maintain inventory of aircraft components in accordance with engineering specs and FAA requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read drawings and work instructions. You will collaborate across teams to meet production schedules and uphold safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Two years of previous work experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or a related environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications, or willingness to learn.

Mansioni

• Assemble various aircraft components and products, including tire and wheel assemblies, brake systems, tail springs, and other mechanical assemblies.
• Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, technical specifications, work instructions, and applicable FAA requirements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment to accurately assemble components.
• Perform final inspections of completed assemblies to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with established specifications.
• Identify and report defective components, assembly discrepancies, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records of completed assemblies, parts, and materials.
• Assist with organizing, stocking, and replenishing assembly components to support production needs.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation as required.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in process improvements and ongoing training to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and technical skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
