Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial — Bohemia, NY is seeking an Assembler to join a fast-paced aviation production team. You will perform mechanical assembly of raw materials, use torque wrenches, follow drawings, and participate in quality inspections in a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of assembly experience, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, read blueprints, and maintain a safe workspace. The role offers $23/hour and a 6-month assignment, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of assembly experience.
• Experience using small hand tools; torque wrench familiarity is important.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of raw materials and components.
• Use hand tools and torque wrenches as needed.
• Follow production instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• Perform quality-control inspections to verify workmanship.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized production environment.
• Support production goals with accuracy and quality; overtime as needed.
