Job summary

Northeast Air (NEA), located at Portland International Jetport, is a full-service FBO with 50 years of experience in aviation services including fueling, deicing, and ground handling. We offer paid training on the job for a full-time seasonal position through April and emphasize safety, teamwork, and customer-focused service.

We seek motivated individuals residing in Maine, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and able to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

  • Must reside in Maine and be able to commute to Portland area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Driver’s License (Current)
  • Customer focused and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Remove contaminants on the aircraft in a safe, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with industry standards
  • Daily equipment checks
  • Ensure proper fluid mixture ratio and quantities in trucks
  • Operate large deicing equipment in inclement weather (snow, ice, freezing rain, etc.)
  • Work to be performed in raised bucket for extended periods of time
  • Some documentation and record keeping required
  • Work as a TEAM
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

JOB FUNCTIONS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a valid and current Driver’s License
  • Customer focused
