Job summary

Aeromag is seeking a Seasonal De-icing Technician for operations at LGA, Queens, NY. The role supports winter safety in aviation and offers flexible shifts based on weather and demand.

Responsibilities include operating de-icing trucks, applying fluids per safety protocols, and coordinating with ground crews. Pass airport security and hold a valid driver’s license; prior aviation or heavy equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license required (airside license preferred or must be obtained upon hiring).
  • Able to pass security clearance for airport operations (RAIC, SIDA, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset.
