Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance is seeking an Admissions Representative at the Houston campus who is passionate about education and motivated by results. You will be the first contact for prospective students exploring FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician programs.

This role requires initiative, organization under pressure, and energy in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment, with responsibilities spanning inquiry management, program fit assessment, and enrollment facilitation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service with a track record of meeting KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals and closing ratios.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; time management and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment; proficient with MS Office and CRM systems; flexible with occasional evenings and one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings.
• Assess goals, background, and eligibility to identify the right program fit.
• Guide students through the admissions process: inquiry, appointment setting, interview, application, documentation, and enrollment.
• Meet and exceed enrollment KPIs including outreach, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and closing ratios.
• Proactively follow up with prospective students to maintain momentum and remove enrollment barriers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of application status and pipeline activity.
• Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community recruitment events.
