Orbis Education, in partnership with Averett University, seeks Nursing Med-Surg Clinical Instructors to support the Accelerated BSN program in Norfolk, VA. Instructors supervise clinical education at partner facilities and help students develop psychomotor skills, professionalism, practice, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities include facilitating learning, guiding students, coordinating with faculty and healthcare staff, and ensuring effective evaluations.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Virginia or any compact state.
• Completed BSN; pursuing MSN.

• Collaborate with other faculty, administration as and with the healthcare partner and its staff.
• Attend all required orientation, training and faculty meetings.

We are seeking highly energetic, Nursing Med-Surg Clinical Instructors for an Accelerated Bachelor of Science of Nursing program in Norfolk, VA. As a Nursing Clinical Instructor and faculty member, the primary responsibility is the clinical education of the students in the ABSN program. Clinical Instructors are assigned teaching responsibilities in a clinical area at our partner health care facilities in the Norfolk area and are expected to contribute to the education of the students including psychomotor skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking. • Preferred: Two years of teaching experience

• Two years of successful clinical nursing practice
• Currently attending MSN
• Able to work 8-12 hour shifts in clinical setting
