Job summary

Fuse Technical Group in Glendale, CA is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to prioritize and manage productivity in our audio‑visual equipment warehouse. This fast-paced role involves standing, lifting, loading and unloading gear, and using Rental Works for order fulfillment and inventory control.

You will report to the Operations Manager and lead warehouse staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, ensure procedures are followed, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Management or team lead experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to work a demanding schedule based on evolving client needs.
• Technical savvy and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assign orders, transfers, and tasks to warehouse staff and leads.
• Review upcoming transfers and consolidate shipments when possible.
• Communicate shortages and offer alternatives to management.
• Email photo and BOL information for each truckload shipment to receiving office.
• Monitor employee performance and report back to Operations Management.
• Oversee training and growth of warehouse staff and leads.
• Enforce methods of operations procedures and safety measures.
• Report unsafe conditions to Operations Management if not self-corrected.
• Promote organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Open/close the building as directed on shift (key & code holder).
• Update knowledge via Rental Works training videos and shadowing Operations Management.
• Other tasks as assigned by department or operations management.
