Job summary

IES is seeking an experienced AV installation technician to support commercial audio/visual system installations across various projects. The role requires knowledge of InfoComm standards, the ability to interface with clients, and the capacity to work with projectors, displays, cameras, and conferencing equipment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with electronics or related field education preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Formal education in electronics or a related field preferred.
• Some experience with audiovisual or other electro-mechanical installation techniques, or field servicing.

Responsibilities

• AV cable pulling.
• Rack building/pre-wire.
• Hang projector screens.
• Build structure to hang AV equipment safely.
• Install speakers and flat panel displays.
• Install cameras and microphones.
• Solder AV connectors and terminate cables.
• Troubleshoot AV systems.
