INSPIRE seeks an AV Technician to support The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA. The role involves preparing, operating, and maintaining AV systems, coordinating with hotel staff, and ensuring equipment is safely managed and ready for events. Excellent customer service and clear communication are essential.

You will work in a fast-paced hospitality setting, with a focus on professionalism, reliability, and teamwork. This position offers full-time hours and a benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experienced with audiovisual technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Self-starter who can lead and work well with others.
• Excellent organizer, good communicator, and motivator.
• Willingness to work long hours and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prep, set, and strike audiovisual equipment and keep inventory updated.
• Track inventory and ensure orders are completed promptly.
• Operate AV equipment with knowledge of signal flow and specs.
• Determine equipment shortages and prepare substitutions.
• Maintain communication with management at all times.
• Follow grooming and attire policies in place.
• Represent INSPIRE professionally with clients and hotel staff.
• Work in a fast-paced, changing environment where input is valued.
• Protect company equipment and report damage.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
