Position Details

• Role: AV Technician / Deskside Support
• Location: Windsor, CT (Onsite)
• Type: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

AV Technician:

• Install, configure, and operate AV equipment such as microphones, projectors, speakers, video conferencing tools, lighting, and cameras for meetings, conferences, events, and presentations.
• Familiarity with video conferencing tools like Zoom & Teams.
• Ensure AV systems function smoothly during events and operations.
• Perform regular maintenance on AV equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, assisting presenters with equipment and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with other technical teams for system integration.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Report on AV system status to management.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Sr. Desktop Support Technician:

• Provide direct assistance to end users for hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of desktop OS and applications.
• Experience supporting end-users in a corporate environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Use remote access tools and manage Active Directory.
• Manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Support software deployment, system upgrades, asset management, and infrastructure activities.
• Perform onsite hardware/software installations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
