Responsibilities

• Installation and operation of sound systems, lighting and video projects.
• Conduct tests to ensure functionality of audio-visual equipment.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs of high-tech electronic equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory.

The AV Technician is responsible for the set‑up, operation and maintenance of the audio and visual equipment for events.

Duties

• Installation and operation of sound systems, lighting and video projects.
• Conduct tests to ensure functionality of audio‑visual equipment to include TVs, LCD displays, DVD players, video projectors, cameras, audio recorders, sound systems, and microcomputers.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs of high‑tech electronic equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory.
