Job summary

Intech Innovations Inc. is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to configure, install, and service a wide variety of AV equipment in corporate and educational settings.

You will work with a lead technician, AV Engineer, and AV Programmer to complete installations and communicate project details to the Lead Technician. The role includes troubleshooting with clients via phone/video/site, providing training, reviewing CAD/BOM/SOW, and ensuring professional execution of tasks while maintaining a

Qualifications

• AVIXA CTS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Any AMX, Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Shure or other Pro AV manufacturer training.
• Certified Quality Technician (AQAV, CQT).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all devices and connections are done professionally.
• Document and maintain a punch list for ongoing job tasks.
• Coordinate with Job Manager for ongoing jobs and follow up on support tasks.
• Maintain a Total Equipment Database Model, Serial, and Asset Tag for every job.
• Assist clients by telephone, video and/or on-site for troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
• Provide training and client support for operations of audio-visual systems.
• Review BOM/SOW/CAD drawings prior to project launch.
• Work with the AV Engineer & Programmer to complete project requirements efficiently.
• Communicate with Operations Manager and Salesperson on questions or concerns during a project or service call.
• Relay any future sales opportunities to the Salesperson.
• Good verbal, writing, and listing skills are a must to maintain a high level of customer service.
• Accomplish all other duties as assigned.

Job description

As an Audio-Visual Technician, you will configure, install and service awide variety of Audio, Video, and control equipment in corporate and educational environments. You will work with a lead technician to accomplish project and servicetask(s). The Technician will also work with the A/V Engineer andA/V Programmer to complete the Audio-Visual installation successfully. After all project components are properly installed and configured thetechnician will be responsible for communicating all aspects of the project to the Lead Technician.

Professional Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure all devices and connections are done professionally.

• Maintain a professional Total Equipment DatabaseModel, Serial, (and Asset Tag when applicable) list for every job.
• Maintain a clean work environment in the office, warehouse and on job sites.
  
• Assist clients by telephone, video and/orclient site for troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
• Provide training and client support to users inthe operations of audio-visual systems.
• Review BOM / SOW / CAD drawings prior to projectlaunch.
• Work with the AV Engineer & Programmer to confirmproject requirements are completed efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with Operations Manager and Salesperson on questions or concerns during a project or service call.
• Relay any future sales opportunities to the Salesperson assigned.

A/V Certifications:

AVIXA - CTS (within 90 days)

Beneficial Certifications:
