Golden Nugget Lake Charles is a luxury casino-resort that opened in December 2014. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, the incumbent is responsible for all in-house audio-visual systems, including digital video distribution, Crestron panels, CobraNet, DSP, and associated technology such as digital signage, TV feeds, microphones, and sound systems.

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws, and Golden Nugget policies.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions.
  • Ensure sound and light equipment is properly set up and functioning for in-house systems and special events.
  • Assist performers with unloading and setting up sound, lighting, and video equipment efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinate with entertainment groups to manage their equipment and assist with in-house sound, lighting, and video setups.
  • Schedule and monitor music systems and assist outlets with creating custom playlists.
  • Maintain responsibility for company property and equipment.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of current lighting systems and seek to learn new technologies.
  • Program and operate lighting consoles for both conventional and intelligent fixtures, and expand knowledge of new equipment.
  • Ensure all in-house equipment is in proper working order.
  • Wire, patch, and program audio, lighting, and video equipment for various performances and events accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics.
  • At least one year of audio-visual experience, or a minimum of two years of progressive A/V and entertainment experience, or equivalent training and education demonstrating the ability to perform the duties.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must possess solid decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and establish positive, professional relationships. Flexibility to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
