Job summary

NC State University is seeking an Audio Visual Technology Student Assistant to support maintenance, setup, and operation of AV equipment in study spaces and event environments. You will work roughly 20 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours, and gain hands-on experience in AV tech and IT collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with audio-visual maintenance and setup in group study rooms and conference rooms.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment and provide on-site support during events.
• Assist with surplus inventory management and disposal in the AV closets.
• Collaborate with event organizers to understand AV requirements and provide guidance on equipment selection and setup.
