Job summary

Strategic Connections is seeking a Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II in Raleigh, NC. This role involves installing and terminating structured cabling, mounting AV gear, reading schematics, and supporting system commissioning.

The candidate will read blueprints, perform cable testing, troubleshoot basic issues, and coordinate with customers and other trades on-site, while maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with testing equipment for cables.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
• Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct cable certification and testing.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues.
• Coordinate with customers and other trades on-site.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.
