Job summary

Next Level Technician in Raleigh, NC is seeking an AV Installer to install commercial audiovisual systems across corporate, healthcare, and education environments. You will mount displays, run cabling, and wire AV equipment in conference rooms and classrooms, ensuring proper testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AV installation experience (commercial preferred).
• Experience mounting displays and installing AV racks.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling and low voltage wiring.
• Ability to read and follow system layouts.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).

Responsibilities

• Install commercial audio-visual systems including displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems
• Mount TVs, monitors, projectors, and AV racks
• Run, terminate, and label low voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6, speaker wire, HDMI, fiber, etc.)
• Install and wire AV equipment in conference rooms, classrooms, corporate offices, and healthcare facilities
• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Read and interpret AV system drawings and blueprints
• Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
