Job summary

MSB Consulting Engineers in Elmwood, LA is seeking an AV Systems Installation Technician to install and support audio, video, and control systems in corporate, education, and public venues.

You will read schematics, pull and terminate cables, mount equipment, configure control platforms, and ensure fully functional systems delivered to clients. Travel to job sites is required; on-site and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; electronics training preferred.
• Experience in commercial AV installation (1–3 years preferred).
• CTS or manufacturer certifications would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label AV and network cabling.
• Mount racks, displays, and other AV gear per drawings.
• Integrate systems with Crestron, Extron, and AMX control platforms.
• Configure, test, and calibrate AV systems; resolve issues.
• Document installation progress and maintain wiring labels.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and clients.
