Job summary

Pinnacle in Glendale, CA is seeking an Audio Video Engineer/Estimator to design commercial AV systems, generate cost proposals, and support project teams from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Crestron and Extron, is familiar with D‑Tools or similar quoting platforms, and can translate client requirements into detailed technical solutions.

You will produce BOMs, schematics, and documentation, collaborate with sales and vendors, and travel to client sites

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in AV system design and engineering.
• Proficient with Crestron and Extron AV platforms.
• Familiar with D‑Tools or similar design/estimation software.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated AV systems for conference rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, and other commercial environments.
• Develop system schematics, riser diagrams, and signal flow diagrams.
• Create accurate project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and third‑party services.
• Maintain BOMs, as‑built drawings, and project documentation.
