Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group seeks an experienced AV Supervisor to join the Operations team at Quorum by Convene, NYC. The role focuses on leading AV setup/strike, coordinating with senior tech leaders, and ensuring smooth meeting experiences at flagship venues.

You will manage schedules, maintain gear, and deliver exceptional service for clients and staff. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with on-site work at 1221 Avenue of the Americas.

Qualifications

• Ability to delegate to tech teams and temporary staff.
• Strong communication with clients and staff.
• Comfort with rotating schedules including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, strike and program execution for events.
• Coordinate with Technology Manager and leadership on tasks.
• Maintain equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Determine labor/equipment needs and scheduling weekly.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and client consultancy.
