Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group in NYC is seeking an experienced AV Supervisor to lead the on-site AV team at our Quorum by Convene venue. The role reports to the Senior Technology Manager and collaborates with the General Manager and Regional AV Manager to ensure top-tier meeting experiences.

The position requires strong communication, knowledge of AV equipment and SOPs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and long hours. Base salary is disclosed below with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising AV on-site events.
• Ability to work nights, weekends or long hours.
• Strong communication with clients and staff.
• Knowledge of venue AV SOPs and equipment maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, strike and execution of program details.
• Delegate instructions to technology team and staff on site.
• Manage equipment maintenance, inventory and storage.
• Determine labor and equipment needs and scheduling weekly.
• Maintain communications with onsite and regional leadership.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
• Maintain professional client relationships and staff communication.
• Present a professional image per company dress codes.
• Know facility technologies, equipment, and SOPs.
• Support rotating shifts including nights/weekends.
