Job summary

Story Land is seeking an Audio-Visual Sound Technician to set up and operate AV gear across parks and events. You will maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensure safe electrical practices, and coordinate with the Events Team to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of AV/sound work and a strong mechanical aptitude, with a high school diploma or technical degree preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years AV/Sound work experience or a technical degree/diploma.
• Excellent computer proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing technical support and setup of AV equipment for all areas of operation, including Theme Park, Waterpark, Food Areas.
• Operational knowledge of event space lighting, control systems, projection screens, video projectors, and house sound systems.
• Set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment.
• Notify AV Manager of issues with electrical lines, panels, controls, or equipment.
• Cooperate with other departments to provide a positive guest experience.
