Job summary
AutoNation's Advanced Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Technician role focuses on diagnosing, calibrating, and repairing autonomous systems for safe fleet operation. You will tackle complex diagnostics of sensors, CAN/LIN networks, and high‑voltage components, collaborating with engineering and field teams.

Qualifications
- 3–5+ years as automotive/EV/robotics/AV technician.
- Strong diagnostic experience with mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
- Hands-on with LiDAR, radar, cameras and computer hardware.
- Proficiency with diagnostic software, scan tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and engineering documentation.
- CAN/LIN tools experience (CANalyzer, SavvyCAN, Vehicle Spy).
- Lift 50 lbs, work under vehicles, and operate in field environments.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on AV powertrain, HV systems.
- Diagnose and validate CAN/LIN faults and hardware.
- Calibrate sensors and validate alignment.
- Install, configure, and replace AV components; support software deployments.
- Support field testing and incident response.
- Document repairs and contribute to continuous improvement.
