Job summary

INSPIRE is seeking an Audio Visual Sales Manager at the Montgomery Renaissance in Montgomery, AL. You will drive AV equipment and service sales, interface with clients, hotel staff, and the internal AV team to ensure event success.

Responsibilities include quotes, client meetings, on-site visits, and negotiations to secure AV business while maintaining high client satisfaction. Medical & retirement benefits support a stable, growth-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service, sales, and hospitality skills with strong client relationships.
• Familiarity with AV equipment, setup, and operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic IT/device management.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong organization and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Sell AV equipment and services at the hotel, meeting revenue targets.
• Communicate with clients, hotel staff, and internal AV team to ensure events succeed.
• Generate quotes and pursue new AV business with prospective clients.
• Participate in on-site and off-site client visits and pre-/post-event meetings.
• Negotiate with clients to secure AV business and preferred services.
• Consult with AV staff on equipment selection and labor needs.
• Review final billing with clients and obtain approvals.
• Negotiate billing adjustments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Follow up with clients with thank-you notes and post-event evaluations.
