Job summary

INSPIRE is seeking an Audio Visual Sales Manager to drive AV sales at the Montgomery Renaissance in Montgomery, AL. You will handle client outreach, quotes, and coordination with hotel and AV teams to ensure successful meetings and events.

The role requires building client relationships, tailoring AV solutions, and managing billing and follow-up to maximize revenue while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service, sales, and hospitality skills.
• Familiarity with capabilities of audio-visual equipment, set-up, and general operations.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, networking, IT device management, PC and Mac operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication; persuasive and clear.
• Creativity and initiative in capturing AV business.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• High ownership and professional demeanor; flexible to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotes, respond to clients, and meet revenue goals at the property.
• Collaborate with clients to determine meeting needs and match to AV services.
• Coordinate with hotel sales staff to secure AV business.
• Participate in on-site and off-site client visits and post-event meetings.
• Negotiate with clients to secure AV business and approvals.
• Work with AV staff on equipment and labor selection and acquisition.
• Review final billing with clients and manage AV charges.
• Follow up with clients with thank-you letters and service evaluations.
