The Event Staging Production Supervisor is a high-level technical/leadership role. In this position, the incumbent has gained extensive field experience and exhibits top leadership in the Audio-Visual industry. The Production Supervisor functions as a dedicated technician/engineer and as an onsite leader, contributing to the overall scope of the event with client interaction. Their technical expertise ensures the event meets IMS’s quality standards. They are motivated towards personal excellence and may be appointed leadership roles within events, supporting show flow and communicating client needs effectively to the crew.

Position Accountabilities and Expectations:

1. Provide planning, logistics, and documentation support for the event in coordination with the Production Manager.
2. Act as the overall lead or lead in designated areas, with the ability to teach audio, video, or lighting as needed.
3. Quote small to mid-sized events and assist with larger events under senior management supervision.
4. Demonstrate strong leadership and accountability through technical and operational support for live, studio, and virtual productions.
5. Supervise onsite tasks and delegate responsibilities to crew, adhering to standards and timelines.
6. Communicate effectively with clients to interpret and execute their requests.
7. Quick learner with advanced skills in coaching team members on AV and live event skills.
8. Maintain and update Outlook with relevant tasks and meetings.
9. Understand and follow company processes, and learn about different manufacturers’ products.
10. Perform other duties as required to support business objectives.

2. College degree in a related field preferred.

4. Ability to work independently or lead teams.

8. Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
