Job summary

Ops Tech Alliance, LLC is seeking an AV/Multimedia Technician to support executive meetings, presentations, training sessions, and secure teleconferences for a national security customer. The role requires configuring, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems with rapid, high-quality customer support, on-site within 50 miles of McLean, VA.

Applicants must hold active TS/SCI clearance (CI polygraph), be a U.S. citizen, and have related AV experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to meet CI polygraph requirements.
• Experience setting up, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audiovisual or multimedia equipment.
• Education-based experience requirements (e.g., HS/GED with 8+ years, AA with 6+, BS with 4+, MS with 2+ within last 15 years).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support microphones, projectors, video displays, recording equipment, and related audiovisual systems.
• Provide technical support for meetings, presentations, training events, and teleconferences.
• Test multimedia equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Interpret customer requirements and determine equipment, resources, and support for each event.
• Recommend presentation approaches and equipment options based on customer needs.
• Test content across platforms and networks for proper viewing and audio/video quality.
• Review presentation content for accuracy, classification, and distribution controls.
• Troubleshoot real-time audiovisual issues and coordinate with technical staff to minimize disruptions.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000 Clearance: TS/SCI + CI Poly Location: 50 miles of McLean, Virginia Position is contingent upon contract award.

Ops Tech Alliance is seeking an AV/Multimedia Technician to support executive meetings, presentations, training sessions, and secure teleconferences for a national security customer. This role will configure, operate, test, and troubleshoot audiovisual and multimedia systems while providing responsive, high-quality support to customers and senior leaders. The position supports a high-visibility national security customer and requires on-site work within 50 miles of McLean, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support microphones, projectors, video displays, recording equipment, and related audiovisual systems.
• Provide technical support for meetings, presentations, training events, and phone or video teleconferences.
• Test multimedia equipment to confirm safe, reliable, and effective operation.
• Interpret customer requirements and determine the equipment, resources, and support needed for each event.
• Recommend presentation approaches, equipment options, and alternative delivery methods based on customer needs.
• Test integrated content across platforms and networks to ensure proper viewing, interactivity, and audio/video quality.
• Review presentation content for accuracy, completeness, classification, and appropriate distribution controls.
• Troubleshoot real-time audiovisual issues and coordinate with technical personnel to minimize disruption to events.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to meet customer access requirements, including CI polygraph requirements.
• Experience setting up, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audiovisual or multimedia equipment in support of meetings, presentations, training, or teleconferences.
• Minimum relevant experience depends on education:
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
• Qualifying experience must have occurred within the past 15 years.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting secure, classified, executive-level, or mission-critical meetings and events.
• Experience with VTC platforms, conference-room systems, networked AV equipment, recording systems, and live event support.
• Experience supporting ODNI, the Intelligence Community, DoD, or another federal national security customer.
