Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Luxury Residential AV Lead Install Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury audiovisual technology and a proven track record of leading installation projects in upscale residential settings. As the Lead Install Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, integration, and commissioning of AV systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the installation team in the implementation of high-end audiovisual systems for luxury residential properties, including home theaters, media rooms, whole-house audio, lighting control, and home automation.

- Collaborate with clients, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to design and customize AV solutions that meet their aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, and technical requirements.

- Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to evaluate the scope of work, identify potential challenges, and develop installation plans and timelines.

- Coordinate with project managers to schedule installations, allocate resources, and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

- Install, configure, and program audiovisual equipment, control systems, and networking infrastructure to deliver seamless integration and operation.

- Oversee cable routing, equipment rack assembly, and equipment placement to achieve optimal performance and aesthetics.

- Test and calibrate AV systems to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations for audio and video quality.

- Provide hands-on training and technical support to homeowners on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.

- Maintain detailed documentation of installation activities, system configurations, and as-built drawings.

- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electronics, audiovisual technology, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and configuring luxury residential AV systems, with a focus on high-end audio and video equipment.

- Proven leadership skills and experience leading installation teams in luxury residential settings.

- Expertise in reading and interpreting architectural plans, AV schematics, and wiring diagrams.

- Extensive knowledge of luxury audiovisual brands, products, and technologies, including brands such as Savant, Control4, Lutron, Crestron, and Sonos.

- Proficiency in programming control systems and automation platforms.

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
