The Role

Presidio is seeking an on-site AV Integration Technician responsible for installing displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems. This position is onsite in Charlotte, NC (Whitehall Park). The role involves regional travel and regular visits to client sites.

Travel Requirements

Expected to travel up to 60-80% of the time, including daily visits and weekly out-of-town/overnight trips. Location based in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Onsite installation of displays, projectors, audio, control, and teleconferencing systems.
2. Installation, testing, and termination of low voltage cabling supporting AV setups.
3. Follow instructions from Lead Technician and Project Managers to complete installations.
4. Complete basic rack wiring.
5. Learn operation of collaboration platforms; pursue AV certification (CTS) for growth.
6. Assist with inventory, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware.
7. Communicate onsite with other trades and handle basic customer interactions.
8. Travel to various job sites as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Experience in trades or technical industries.
2. Basic computer and MS Office skills.
3. Valid Driver's License.
4. High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's degree, or military experience.
5. 3+ years in low voltage or AV industry.
6. Ability to work on ladders, lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and work with arms raised.
