Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to install, configure, and maintain AV systems across corporate meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and live events. The role covers installation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of AV setups, including digital signage and conference room tech.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in audio‑visual system installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV integration.
• Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, MAXHUB).
• Knowledge of digital signage systems (e.g., OptiSigns, MOOD Media).
• Knowledge of network and IT infrastructure as it relates to AV systems.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the corporate sector.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in the use of AV equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary.

• LOCATION: Richardson, TX 75080
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F
• PAY RATE: $30.00 hour
