Job summary

TRITECH Communications Inc. is seeking an AV Field Engineer with strong DSP expertise to program, commission, and troubleshoot advanced AV systems. You will configure AMX/Biamp/Crestron/Polycom solutions, manage IP networking for routers and switches, and train customers on system functionality.

The role requires independent work on customer sites, travel to fabrication facilities and manufacturer locations, and collaboration with project teams to meet milestones and ensure high system uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 3–6 years of professional AV field engineering experience with deep DSP / system knowledge.
• Must independently interface with customers, system engineers and design consultants.
• Hold ICIA CTS or higher certification and manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, Clear One, AMX).

Responsibilities

• Write and modify DSP files and coordinate DSP control with the system programmer.
• Configure complex AV systems (AMX, Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, Polycom) and associated IP devices.
• Independently drive project deliverables from installation through commissioning to final inspection.
• Load, test and troubleshoot control code and train customers on system functionality.
