Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art seeks a Performance Space Assistant to provide technical support in our performance spaces and assist event patrons. You will handle AV, lighting, and sound setup, help attendees with seating and lost items, and support setup and breakdown for classes, visitors, and events.

The role requires basic AV knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible hours while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic AV equipment and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary AV technician for Falvey Hall, BBOX, and A Box.
• Assist patrons with tickets, seating, and lost items at events.
• Set up and prepare for events and break down after.
• Provide light and sound technical support across campus spaces.
