Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AV Events Technician to provide ancillary event support for large corporate events in Pleasanton, CA. The role involves starting in-room presentations, offering dedicated AV support, and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

You will set up, configure, and operate AV systems, act as the primary contact for AV items, and ensure high-quality audio and video for both in-room and streamed events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• AV equipment knowledge and understanding of current audio/video standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as event production A1 or A2, Graphics, or TD/switching as needed.
• Set up, configure, operate, and support event productions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for audio/video items at events.
• Ensure high-quality audio and video for streaming and space experiences.
• Follow run-of-show and coordinate with crew before and during shows.
• Test playback elements and manage gear configuration upgrades.
• Coordinate with presenters for mic placement and lav tracking.
• Reset space to pre-production standards after events.
