Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Audiovisual Production Technician to lead AV setup and operation in the Ohio Union performance spaces. You will maintain client service standards, handle AV inventory, and support the team on special setups.

Responsibilities include running projections, lighting, and audio systems; training student crew; and communicating needs to clients and other departments during events. A background in AV and related training is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Desired: certification or vocational training may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the room's AV systems for client use.
• Understand projection, lighting, audio, and control systems in the Ohio Union spaces.
• Communicate AV needs with clients and liaise with other departments as needed.
• Lead a small crew of students and delegate tasks or train equipment operation.
• Execute events as prescribed and prepare performance spaces.
• Complete shift reports to communicate event information to full-time staff.
