Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Repair Technician to service and support our audio-visual projects and post-sales service in a dynamic environment in California. You will repair and maintain equipment, review and confirm materials, and estimate resources for repairs, contributing to project success.

You will work with Salesforce, D365 and R2 inventory software, manage parts, and coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in lighting, audio, video equipment, or electronics repair.
• Strong understanding of audio, lighting, video projection for both consumer and professional grade equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Solotech and S&SI inventory using a variety of hand tools, light duty power tools, electrical meters, and electrical testers.
• Create reports detailing service work performed.
• Manage spare parts Inventory and maintain preventative maintenance procedures.
• Work with Salesforce, D365 and R2 inventory software.
• Forecast project needs with the manager.
• Interface with Live Production and S&SI Project Managers.
• Ensure health and safety risk mitigation.
