Job summary

DSI Tech in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Design Engineer to plan, design, and implement innovative AV solutions across diverse projects. The role requires in-office presence at least four days a week and up to 50% travel, with relocation support for qualified candidates.

You will prepare design packages, BOMs, floor plans, and schematics; collaborate with vendors and department heads; and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years AV engineering experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio drawing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AV design packages and BOMs.
• Create floor plans, room/rack elevations, and system schematics.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and colleagues on AV design and implementation.
• Provide program reports to analyze system capabilities and gaps.
• Review BOMs for standards compliance and completeness.
