Job summary

Welcome Home Living in Pittsford, NY is seeking an AV/Low-Voltage Technician to install and configure systems on-site. You will pull and terminate low-voltage cabling, mount TVs and network gear, and perform advanced device setup while following lead technician directions.

You’ll train clients on system operation, maintain professional job sites, and collaborate with the team to ensure quality installations in residential projects around the area.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools.
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (audio, video, networking, lighting control, automation, shades, and camera systems)
• Follow installation drawings, wiring diagrams, and direction from the lead technician
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Mount and install TVs, speakers, cameras, network equipment, keypads, lighting control & shades
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Train client on system operation
• Protect the customer’s home and leave every job site clean and professional

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour

You Have

• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Your Schedule

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri from 9:00am-5:0pm
