Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking a training content developer for NAPA Autotech wholesale customers. This role focuses on creating high-quality, effective training materials covering product knowledge, equipment operation and technical skills across automotive, truck, tools and equipment.

You will collaborate with managers, store owners and subject matter experts, manage development resources, and use learning platforms to deliver engaging solutions while tracking their impact on adoption

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in sales, sales training, parts or wholesale customer operations, training program development.
Large project management experience and use of PM tools.
Undergraduate degree in related fields preferred.
Previous experience in large organization in a training/learning environment.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Assesses and determines audience training needs by interviewing, surveys and on-site visits with managers, store owners, employees and customers.
Identifies and utilizes subject matter experts to support development and review processes.
Utilizes quality training development resources to produce effective solutions.
Maintains and updates existing training solutions using current techniques and technology.
Coordinates communication and administrative duties related to curriculum development.
Collaborates with other departments, suppliers, field sales teams and customers to align training with company initiatives.
