Description of Work

  • The Recruitment Range for This Position is $46,149 - $47,045*

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to OCME pathologists, the Statewide Medical Examiner System and law enforcement personnel. The employee provides technical assistance to forensic pathologists in the performance of postmortem examinations. The employee performs eviscerations, gross anatomic dissections, death scene investigations, and collects evidence and information to supplement autopsy reports regarding the cause and manner of death.
