Job summary

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology required (or equivalent).
Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science preferred.
Experience with biohazard procedures and precautions beneficial.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.

Responsibilities

Perform grossing autopsy procedures, describing macroscopic features and documenting measurements.
Accurately describe specimens and differentiate normal from abnormal tissue per protocols.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and CLIA guidelines.
Handle morgue duties and administrative tasks as needed while supporting pathology staff.
