Job summary

PlusAI, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer, Validation to lead end-to-end V&V of the autonomous driving stack.

You will design and execute closed-course test plans, work with engineering and operations to ensure robust software on-vehicle performance, and produce tooling and documentation to improve efficiency. The role requires hands-on testing, Linux, ROS, C++, Python proficiency, and willingness to travel to test sites near San Antonio, TX and across the country.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems.
• Experience debugging Linux, ROS, C++, and identifying software failures caused by hardware sensors.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Bash.
• Willingness to travel to test sites near San Antonio, TX and across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of closed-course autonomous vehicle system testing.
• Create V&V plans and develop test matrix based on product requirements to thoroughly test autonomy software on-vehicle.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot software errors, including working with Linux, ROS, sensors, actuators, and various log data.
• Work with engineers to determine how to test different parts of the autonomy stack and report back test failures to management.
• Organize and execute field testing to test autonomy software on-vehicle in various environments including closed course.
• Execute the test cases based on release milestones.
• Dive deep and support triaging issues of various components of the AV stack
• Generate documentation and back-end tooling to improve operational efficiency
