Qualifications

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D with a focus on Autonomy, APNT, UAS or other aerospace software
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing technical teams
• Deep understanding of software development principles and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision and direction for programs, collaborating with internal technical staff and external customers
• Guide programs from R&D into flight testing and ultimately fielding
• Lead multidisciplinary teams developing autonomy and GNC capabilities, embedded and full stack application, and systems integration
• Manage program execution, ensuring schedule and budget adherence, and oversee successful program delivery
• Cultivate relationships with external partners and stakeholders and advocate MORSE's technology and services
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the portfolio and drive growth
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to program team members
