Job summary

MORSE Corp in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Autonomy Software Engineer to research, develop, and prototype autonomy software for pre-mission planning and operation of autonomous systems. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment to rapidly design, prototype, and test autonomous systems.

The role requires strong foundations in physics, math, statistics and computer science, and experience with sensor fusion, ML, and HWIL testing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Electrical Eng (Control/Signal Processing) or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Autonomy, Guidance, Navigation or Controls.
• Experience with sensor fusion and multiple sensing modalities.
• Experience building algorithms and simulations for test/validation.
• C++ and Python programming; ML tooling in PyTorch/ONNX.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and prototype autonomy software for autonomous systems.
• Evaluate software from concept to implementation, including sensors.
• Design and test algorithms for autonomy, including sensor fusion and GNC.
• Develop and test code in simulation and HWIL environments and field tests.
• Collaborate in an agile, multidisciplinary team to rapidly prototype.
