Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a Test Driver to support Ford’s autonomous vehicle program. You will drive test vehicles on long and short routes, travel across the U.S., and work closely with engineers to evaluate software and hardware performance in real-world conditions.

High School Diploma or GED with two years of employment experience.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with a clean driving record as verified by MVR checks.
Ability to pass ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks.
Comfortable spending long hours driving and working in close quarters with others.
Strong interest in technology and quick adaptation to challenges and changes.

Responsibilities

Drive test vehicles for long-distance local missions (up to 300–400 miles) and extensive travel (up to 50%).
Operate on rotating schedules and manage daily vehicle startup, engagement, and shutdown.
Monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while on the road.
Execute tests following strict safety and compliance protocols.
Maintain accurate reports on vehicle performance and feedback to engineers.
Collaborate with engineers to provide insights on system performance.
