Job summary

May Mobility, based in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks a technical project manager to lead teams solving complex autonomous driving challenges. You will coordinate across autonomy, vehicle engineering, software and product teams, manage risks, and drive clear, data-driven decisions.

This hybrid role may require travel to sites. Ideal candidates have a deep technical background, strong leadership experience, and a passion for transforming mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years as an engineer or in a highly technical role.
• Minimum 2+ years managing direct reports, mentoring and coaching.
• Minimum 5+ years in technical project management including planning, status updates and risk management.
• Ability to clarify fuzzy requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to analyze problems through data and prioritize tasks.
• Clarify fuzzy requirements and align teams across functions.
• Coordinate across autonomy, vehicle engineering, software, product, finance and operations.
• Maintain detailed status tracking and actively mitigate risks.
• Travel to operational sites as needed and work in a hybrid role from Ann Arbor, MI.
