Job summary

May Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Senior Autonomy Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams solving the hardest problems in autonomous driving. You will analyze problems through data, clarify requirements, and prioritize tasks across autonomy, vehicle engineering, software, product, and operations.

The role is hybrid, located at the Ann Arbor, MI HQ with occasional travel to operational sites. 5+ years of PM experience in tech, with 2+ years managing direct reports, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science or highly technical field.
• Minimum 2+ years as an engineer or other highly technical role.
• Minimum 2+ years managing direct reports, mentoring and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to analyze and clearly understand complex problems using data.
• Clarify fuzzy requirements and prioritize competing technical tasks.
• Assess and mitigate risks aggressively and track status meticulously.
• Coordinate across autonomy, vehicle engineering, software, product, finance and operations teams.
• Communicate root causes, challenges, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
