Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Tucson is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead system-level integration across software, hardware, and operational workflows for autonomy and site technology solutions at the Tucson Mining Center.

You will define requirements, guide integration and validation, and communicate risks and trade-offs to stakeholders while collaborating across software, hardware, and site teams to deliver safe, scalable autonomous capabilities.

Qualifications

• This role requires leading system requirements development and management across complex environments.
• Experience defining system architecture, interfaces, and integration strategies that scale.
• Ability to balance time, cost, quality, and risk across multi-team programs.
• Experience with field testing and embedded/onboard development for robotics or autonomy is preferred.

Responsibilities
